 The Medical Billing and Coding Specialist program prepares students to work in the growing healthcare administrative field. Students will learn to demonstrate critical thinking skills while applying knowledge of specialized medical terminologies, insurance, and regulatory systems. The program also prepares students for the Certified Billing & Coding Specialist (CBCS) industry certification through the National Healthcareer Association (NHA).
 
 Participants must be at least 18 years old or have a high school diploma or equivalent to enroll in this program.
